Willow Valley Young Fiction Series out June 2012!
Thursday, 12 January 2012

A new Young Fiction series, published by Scholastic Children's Books will be published in June 2012.

Perfect for reading together or for children who are just starting to read alone. Filled with gorgeous illustrations. Willow Valley is a very special place. Nestled in a hidden valley, trees of all shapes and sizes grew on the rolling green hills and pretty flowers dance in the meadows. Only the animals who live there know their way in and out, but they hardly ever want to leave because they're having too much fun! Follow the adventures of best friends, Riley the mouse, Starla the badger and Horatio the hedgehog...

It is a fun family session and is open to the public. (I’m also doing sessions the day before but these are school ones.)

It's been a really busy Summer, and that looks set to continue into the Autumn, as I have just signed two new book contracts. One is with Little Tiger Press, 'It's Mine!', the latest Baby Bear story, and will be illustrated by Caroline Pedler. The second is another funny rhyming text with Nosy Crow, 'Shifty McGifty and Scarface Magann'. This will be illustrated by Steven Lenton. Watch this space for further details...

Meet Plip!
Friday, 05 August 2011

Yesterday I thought Christmas had come early when a parcel arrived from Little Tiger Press.

To celebrate the publication of my new book, 'Brave Little Penguin' (published September 2011), they have created a lovely little Plip toy. Plip is the main character in my story, and they didn't forget his favourite toy, Sockybug!

Thank you very much, it was really appreciated!
